I cannot believe guys don't set their parking brake when they are on the ramps!! They don't realize they are betting that one little piece of metal about the size of a quarter will hold all that weight.

Why would it be pulled out upside down is my question?

I couldn’t figure out the upside down deal either. My buddy that pulled up to the ramp didn’t know either. He said the boat trailer was in real bad shape as well. Confusing....

I had a truck/trailer roll down the ramp and slam into the front of my truck while I was loading. I sat in the boat and watched it roll downhill while the owner tried to catch it. Manual that he used only the parking brake and left in neutral. Who does that?

Pictures I saw showed it floated very far from ramp. My guess distance and a mangled mess with trailer just wouldn’t allow it be pulled out like we normally see.

Probably flipped over when the crane picked it up. It was hooked underneath the truck, or the tow hooks in the bumper.

But if it flipped when sinking, the crane might be appropriate?

Pretty sure at this point, it doesn’t matter whether it’s right side up, upside down, or in multiple pieces. Salvage what body panels can be used, and straight to the crusher.
