The bible is a very Jewish book. If you do not understand the Old Testament and its Jewish history the book of Revelation will always be interpreted incorectly when viewed from a 20th century western world view.

Jesus said in Mathew 24 (in or around 33 AD prior to the giving of the Holy Spirit in Acts).................36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of[a]heaven, but My Father only.

Jesus then said (in or around 33 AD) : But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. This is why the inspired writers some 35 years later could pen these words.......................The Holy Spirit had come at pentecost to guide them to write "all truth" and what was yet (about to to happen "mello")

1 John Chapter 2...................The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.18Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.19They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

Jesus said that no man could know the day or HOUR and yet John wrote..........................dear children, this is the last hour.

Please reconcile the apparant contridiction of inspired writings or a flaw in our understanding of the bible record.
