    Optimax 225 DFI motor trim

The motor trim of my 2000 Optimax 225 goes bad. I look at the price of the Sierra 18-6773 for around $200. There're some other aftermarket ones that are about $100 (made in Taiwan) on Amazon. Does anyone have good luck with those $100 Taiwan motor trim?

I've been using a Taiwan starter for a year, and it's still good.

Aftermarket are mostly junk. I would definitely stay away from the $100 one for sure.

If you would, please take a few moments to review the Announcements located at the very top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the REQUIRED info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

I suspect you are referring to the Trim Motor (and yes, any of those are probably not going to provide longevity).
