I agree but maybe not cancel them but a "pay correction " maybe with bench riders at 100k and starters at 1 mil a year cap, use other means to interest players like merchandise % healthcare and or retirement packages because clearly many can't save for when they aren't getting paid.

They are furious now when they get less than $30 million a year. I remember the uproar when Nolan Ryan sign a contract for 1 million a year.

Basic economics dictates athlete salaries...they negotiate compensation based on their value to the revenues generated by the franchise.

That is a fact have been getting along with less and less of it over the years anyway.....I can catch up on the Sports News through the BBC Analysts they are way better than the yapping heads on TV or Radio plus they never play favorites and will stir up ten pages of posts on a Thread that is some excellent reading.

I'm starting to worry a little bit about my team being ready for the season due to a lack of time to work together. Lot of new faces, new coaches, new offense, new defense and many on the team haven't even met one another let alone play together. Gonna be a season full of challenges but I got a feeling they have all the right pieces in place it's just going to take a little time to gel. As for all the guys that are going to stop watching I hope you have fun with all the Honey-do's while I'm enjoying the games.
