Ultrex leveling

What are guys using to level their Ultrex that don’t want to spend $190 on a leveling wedge?

I used black 1" HDPE to build a wedge.

Where did you get it? And this may be a dumb question but how did you shave it down into a wedge?

Bought the HDPE off of eBay, I didn't make a solid wedge, I cut 2 pieces for the side and 2 braces to go in between. Made the straight cuts with a table saw, cut the angle with a band saw.

I did something similar but used an extra piece of composite deck board my buddy had left over from his deck and painted it. Added the benefit of being able to make it exactly the the size my boat needed.
