I just bought a used Hook 7 and I need a power cable. I have seen two numbers that say fits it. One is just a power cable, two wires red cap. Other has many wires that comes out of the power cable. Which do I need? Thanks.

Both will work. The one with many has NMEA0183, a type of marine networking typically used with (older) VHF-radios.

Lowrance sent me a new one with all those wires, I just cut them off and left the red and black wires on it. That's all you need.
Just changed my Hook for a Hook2 and have the power cable you need extra. Send me your address and I'll send it to you for postage.
