    In several of Pauls writings the great commision had been fulliflled during apostles lifetime. This one simple fact is so overlooked we miss the forest for the for trees. If the bible says it had been fullfilled why are we still being taught to complete it ?

    Those who read their bibles have read these verses over and over. Can you find them ?

    I will provide some hints :


    Romans 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.


    Romans 16:26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writingsby the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from[a] faith

    Colossians 1:6 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.

    Colossians 1:23 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven,and of which I, Paul, have become a servant

    Romans 10..............17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.”[i]


    All of these inspired writings were written 2000 years ago.............................................wh y are we trying to fullifll the Great Commision today ? Just to save our views of eschatology ?

    Some people might be asking ........................why was the great commision important? Jesus tells us why.

    Matthew 24:14

    14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.


    In light of Jesus' statement, we might ought to ask ourselves this question. What "END WOULD COME" ?

    In Matthew chapte 10 Jesus knew his time was drawing near to be put to death as a sacrafice for the sins of the world. He called his twelve disciples to give them instruction on what to do after his death and ressurection.

    1Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.2These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; 4Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.5These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. 7As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near. 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, a drive out demons.     Jesus did not know the day or the hour at this time while on earth. But the Father certainly did. This scripture clearly states that the Father would speaking on their behalf when the time came and the day of Pentecost had passed when the Holy Spirit was poured out in the "Last days".

    Joel 2:28 "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

    Acts 2:17 (fullfillment of Joel 2:28)

    "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.


    This may rock your theological cathedral, but it is certaintly what the Law and the Prophets, Jesus and his Apostles taught.
