Fuel Tank Replacement
In the process of removing the jump seat and adding a coin box in my 2005 Ranger Z21. While I had everything apart I decided to swap out my sending units. As I was mounting the sending units one of the screw inserts on the poly tank stripped out making it impossible to tighten or remove the screw. Long story short, I had to cut the head of the screw off to remove the sending unit and either need to find a solution to fix the stripped insert or order a new tank. The original makers of the tank, INCA , have closed. Does anyone know if Ranger still sells the replacement? I’m concerned that any aftermarket will not mount the same way. Any help is appreciated.

Replace the insert with a like Riv-nut.
