Daiwa Tatula 6’10” medium. Seems more like a medium light. Love that rod

I would get the new Daiwa Rebellion 7'ML over any e6x anyday. The rebellion is impressive at $199.

Phenix Feather 7'1" M would be my choice, or 6'9" M if you prefer a shorter rod, and you'll have some cash leftover. It will fish more medium light than medium as Phenix tends to over-rate their rod powers relative to other rod manufacturers. They are insanely good rods for the money. Super lightweight, super sensitive, just awesome.

This is a brand I'm curious about. Some nice models in their lineup. Listening to Clent Davis sort of made me look at their lineup.

I'd suggest looking at Dobyns. Their Fury series is quite a bit less than $200. It's a really nice rod especially at that price. Lots of brands to choose from --- good luck in your search.

Also I bought my wife a Dobyns Fury and put a new Shimano Sedona 2500 on it for right under $200 rod and reel...

Get the Phenix Feather 7'1" M, like Drew suggested!
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.

I wasn’t all that familiar with Phenix until I handled some of their rods at a sport show a couple years back when a local tackle shop had just started carrying them. It was when the Feather series was brand new. I handled one and was absolutely blown away. I own 5 of them now plus 2 more I’ve built on the blanks. Unbelievable rods, especially for the money. I’ve yet to find a rod that light and sensitive that doesn’t cost at least twice as much. The only problem for Phenix is that they’re CRAZY close in feel to the K2 series that’s on the level of a Conquest or NRX from a pricing perspective. That can’t be doing them any favors in sales of K2s.

TFO makes a great rod. 6-10. Under 200 easy by a bunch.
With floro and a tungsten sinker any rod is a great drop shot rod!!
