ONIX/M360

1.Is the ONIX compatible with the mega 360 and will the ONIX display the MEGA360 details. I know the ONIX has a better processing ability than SOLIX or HELIX, if I remember correctly.

2. Is the shaft of the m360 the same diameter as the original 360?

I could not find any info pertaining to this question

The Onix does not support the M360 .... The M360 connects to the transducer port and is only supported by SI+ and DI+ units.

Don't know about shaft size

2. Yes the same size and the same Ultrex mount and Fortrex mount.

Get off some of that money and upgrade to at least one Solix

You can run the MEGA 360 by itself, but would get no 2D sonar, DI sonar or Temp. The MEGA 360 uses the SI circuits in the unit's transducer plug.
If you want those, you would have to share from another unit or do the Y cable and Imaging transducer.

You will get 360 and SI but not at the same time.

AND the unit has to be SI+ or DI+ to run the MEGA 360.

I have a gen 2 Solix 12, I also have the si transducer on the t/m so I guess I'll need to find the cable.
