    Pad stall

    Mercury 150 with 24 prop just added. When you give it gas to get on pad it bogs down. If you hold the pedal it will eventually pick up and get on pad. Runs completely fine once on pad. Any suggestions on what could be going on? Thx.

    Going to need more information, such as the Engine Serial Number.

    If this is a two-stroke or Optimax, it does in the 2.0/2.4/2.5L Forum.

    If it's a Fourstroke- it goes in the Fourstroke Forum.

    I'll move it by a "best guess"- if wrong, I'll move it again.
