    Hugo Lake

Fished Hugo last Friday, it was like the dead sea. Caught one shallow on a square bill and my son caught one on some rocks on a swim jig. Only two bites of the day. Fished for about 5 hours and it was very dead. Not many boats on the water, water was very dirty as well. First time there, hopefully last, lol.

    Just thought Id share.

1st let me say I haven't been on that lake in a while. When I did fish it August was the best for our club. Most events were won upriver.

Hog we were on our way home from a week on Caddo so it was basically on the way and we had never seen the lake so figured we would give it a try. Coming from Caddo it was a huge let down, but heck anything is after spending 5 days fishing that swamp full of bass!

I think in that part of Okla. bass is usually main course for dinner/supper most nights...
