Product To Remove Water Spots From Cowling

Is there a product on the market that will safely remove water spots from my SHO cowling? BTS says it will remove water spots without damaging the paint on the cowling.

    Thoughts?

First thing that comes to mind is CLR. But I'd try a very small spot in an inconspicuous area first. Nu-Finish is also a possibility.

Also depends on how deep they are into the paint. If the paint is etched nothing will remove them unless you remove some paint in the process ..... i.e. white rubbing compound.
