    Callaway Mavrick Golf Clubs

Wife has X22 Irons and Rouge driver.
    Irons are 12 years old.
She has tried the Mavrick irons/drivers and with a little more work on them will probably get them for her anniversary.
She is pretty stoked which is fun to see her excited about new golf equipment and lessons.

Anyone have any information on the Mavericks?
    How do you like yours?
Thoughts on the A wedge and the iron sets with the hybrids instead of 3 and 4 irons?
She is tall and getting the men’s size with senior shaft.

    Thanks

Need more information on her to provide a better idea of irons needed. How far does she hit her driver on average? 7I distance? How is her wedge game? Does she hit hybrid long irons now or regular irons? Like anything in "game improvement" irons, they are delofted quite a bit to promote distance, but the thing is if she likes how they feel and look then get them.

With you saying shes taller, can she swing a soft regular (SR) shaft. It is obviously stiffer than an L flex, but they can extend them as well to the length needed.

The Mavs are a great iron set. We have sold a ton of them out of our golf shop. We fit every customer in our simulator so we order them to fit the customer. They are a game improvement style iron so they are forgiving and a little longer. If she has played the x22’s for that long, it will be an easy move to the Mav’s. Most of our customers are preferring to order them with the hybrids and then 5-PW. Most of our customers do not order the A wedge, they buy a traditional wedge like a Callaway MD4 or Jaws. The playability on those is better around the greens

Well, she went a different way and her fitting session led to Ping irons which she loved and hit well.
She ordered the 6-PW. It is a ladies iron.
It is puzzling that they do not offer a 4 or 5 iron in the set she ordered. They only have hybrids for those clubs.
She has used a 4 and 5 iron for quite some time and hits them well.
    But times are a changing.
    She has several hybrids already.
    2 weeks for delivery.
    She is excited.
