    MF Bounce Easy Stretch Plastic...

I'm having custom baits made and was considering this material. I know it is more durable, But I don't want it stiff like a salt water plastic. What store bought bait does it compare too? Is it a little bit like Elaztech? I know it wont stretch as well, But I'm looking for some comparisons.

I'm hoping its soft but more durable than normal baits.

I use it for swim baits mostly. It is nothing like elaztech. Medium soft with good strength. Excellent action on swimbaits.

That sounds like exactly what I want.... I had a custom bladed jig trailer mold made and want a durable plastic, With some action... No boot tail, But a big tail with the actual size and shape of a 3.5in bluegill.

    All I see is Med/Firm https://www.pouryourownworms.com/Eas...F-1-Gallon.htm

    Is this what you have?

Are there places to purchase other than the site I linked above? Better prices?

Yes that is what i use.
I order from that site. He has softener additive for the plastic to change the firmness.

Are you asking about bounce or easy stretch? They are different products. I've used med/soft easy stretch and it works well for what I use it for. Word of caution, it will hard pack unlike the regular MF products.

They don't show this on their site....It is discontinued? Bounce is not listed either..

OK... What is the most durable plastic that still has lots of action?

Dead on black label might be the way to go...

I would say easy stretch. I haven't looked at the MF website for a while and I see that while he still has bounce listed he only shows easy stretch when you go to that section. If you call Jeff at MF he can steer you towards the best plastic for what you want. They make it, they don't buy it somewhere else and repackage it.

I've been interested in this stuff myself. Currently using bait plastics medium but a little more durability for swimbait would be pretty nice!

I'm using the 212 right now.

I just had a guy ask me to make him 2 dozen swimbaits for tarpon... I do t think the 212 will cut it. I might have to bite the bullet and order the mf.

Seems like a compromise between durability and action?
