    Painted my foot

Yesterday I painted my SHO foot , it needs it at least yearly , bought color/rite paint , base , shiny black and gloss clear coat , itches in a kit that sells for $59.00. Looks good and can do it 3 to 4 times with these cans . I don't drag foot across bottom it just gets very faded on the foot , anyone have this issue .

The foot on my Mercury is starting to lose a little paint but I think it adds character.

Got the paint on amazon , its a kit thats shows as 2 cans but it comes with 3 because the Yahama Shiny Black requires a base . You may have to get direct from color/rite as amazon shows it out now .

Date on this photo is 3-2016. I didn’t want to take the lower unit off and take it down to the shop and use the booth. I shot it with straight deltron and single staged it. Pulled the other vehicles out of the shop, hate alley shooting.

close as I could get to Yamaha Shiny Black. Has turned more blueish the last 4 years. IF I paint it again, going with the silver like a Merc. Put it in the booth and shoot it with Imron

I prefer the rustic antiqued raw aluminum look.

Nope, 250 SHO, but nice try.

Run through to much mud, sand, shells, oysters, etc. No paint in the world will stay on my skeg.

Mine is sand polished aluminum fading to black. I figure there is no use in repainting it again, that's just the way it wants to be
