Now he has played with it a lot, props sent to Mark Croxton several times but he has it right.
He and I traded props. I need to discuss getting a prop worked. I will pm you sometime...

I just purchased a 2007 21TR21X. I had it to 70 yesterday but the hull had alot of water in it from all the rain and the auto bilge pump wouldn't kick on. I thought that was pretty impressive.

My old 2002 tr-22 runs pretty good as well. Any of the older tr series in around 2000 are going to be the fastest hulls imo. My boat is always in the 80s.

HP makes them run. There is a 19 footer with a Hydrotech motor and some CB marine work that has run 112 mph in the heat.

I had a TR 196 ran 74 mph with a 200 Mercury Opti I bet if you had a flashed 200 Four Stroke it would push 80s all day long.

I've got one of those you setup! Yellow/black with Verado. Supposedly was Triton's calendar/show boat for '05? Previous owner gave me a pretty large framed picture of the boat in the catalog.

Love my 07 20X w/ 225 Pro XS. Handles and rides great in rough water. I keep upgrading it instead of buying new.

I'd have to say the 97 to 01 Tr hulls with a newer motor have to be tough to beat. But for original motor I have heard great things about the 07 08 20trx hp hulls with a 250. That's the boat I'd like to have next after I sell my 99 tr21 w/200 Ficht. Just want more front deck space, without sacrificing speed.

My 2003 TR-21 with a 2020 250 Pro XS 4S goes 77.8 with a 25P Tempest (3 small PVS plugs, hole shot is great) at 2.75 PtP and 25 PSI WP at 6200 RPM on an 80 degree day with full gas and single person medium tackle load and empty livewells. When the livewells are full, its a totally different hole shot, may need to put medium holes in the prop to free it up. Chine walk is minimal... and as OTA said, once the pleasure boats come out, the beatings begin lol

I will second this. I had a 2000 TR21/225 EFI that was mid 70’s and now have a BCB Eyra/250 PXS and a few weeks ago I took off on a tourney and ran off from everyone but a 196. I finally got passed him at 78+ but he was easily running 76.
They are very fast boats and without a long distance run, would likely hangs with any larger Triton or any other brand outside the go fast models.
