What’s the best adhesive to attach diamond plate on trailer?

I have a piece of diamond that came loose that I need to reattach. It has strips of some kind of black adhesive that they used ( Triton Trailer 2017 ) that has worked loose. What would be the best way and material to reattach it? This piece was on the trailer step area. Thanks

Sounds like double sided tape. If you replace it, you'll have to have both surfaces perfectly clean and flat.

It kind of looks like RVT. It also looks like they sprayed the top of step with the road armor coating,so what ever i use needs to bond to that.

Not two sided tape that's for sure. Might be a kind or RTV, but it looks like it never really got in the game.

I'd thru-bolt it using SS machine screws w/nylock nuts.

I put SS self tappers in my ‘17 trailer. Had to drill a hole first though. That metal is tough gettin through.

I will add another vote for 3M 5200. That is what Ranger parts dept advised me to use.
