    At that shallow of water, you should at least try 800 kHz. The first picture with the rock is awesome. On the 2D, have you tried setting Surface Clarity to Low or Med?

    Thanks ,will try 800khz next time I'm out and also the surface clarity on 2d ,might change color palette to the brown one ,was in my friends boat today and he runs the brown and I kinda liked it thanks again

    no they are both Gen 2 's an 8 and a 10

    Just curious. I have 2 HDS 8, gen 2s front and console. Your images look a bit better than mine. Much brighter. Looks like I need to tinker with my settings a bit more.

    Do you have your transducer leveled when graphing, I set mine level when I going 5mph which is my graphing speed ,also don't know which setting you have but check them all
