2012 courtesy light on the deck

Want to upgrade to the new led from Basscat. The light came with an enclosed loop of black and white from switch to the light and a red and green wire which i figure you hook up to existing wire. Any info would be appreciated

They had a new staffer in parts mistakenly prewire some of the newer panels wrong. Please contact Service and have them go through the proper wiring sequence. This has been addressed on future courtesy light replacements and we apologize for the issue.

Any kind of wiring diagram to go by?

Contact Service if you can’t just figure it out. We don’t know the pattern though a small 9 volt battery should get you connected for trial and swapping wires to figure it out.
