    Maine, Cobbosseecontee or Another Lake?

Our typical trip to Canada the third week of July is out with the border closed. We are from PA and are considering hitting Cobbosseecontee for that week instead. How is the fishing that time of year? Any concerns with navigating the lake? We would be fishing from a 20 foot Skeeter fish and ski. Is there another lake we should consider? We really like to put the boat in and leave it docked all week. I appreciate any advice that anyone is wiling to give.

There is so much good fishing in the area that it would be a huge mistake to fish only Cobbie that week.

I agree that there are many other lakes in the area but if you insist. https://lakesidelodging.com/
They have everything you would need. Great people and they have a ramp onsite if you decide to venture to other lakes. Have fun!

You could fish a different lake for the week and have a blast. If one lake has bad fishing just pull the boat and try another. Lots of fishing in that area.
