I have a 175txw, I have bought a Lowrance 12" for the console, with that being said i know there is no way to get a 12 in the console but have any of you guys found a way to mount it on the console, instead of having it on the side where the factory one comes? I did mount it there to start with on a ram mount but I'm not satisfied with the bouncing on the ram mount or the fact that it hangs over the water! Any help would be appreciated, also pictures of it done would be awesome!
No help here on mounting on the console. What type of ram mount are you using? I have this one for a helix 7 but IMO it would be inadequate for your unit.

A swing arm mount like this one would be far sturdier, especially if you use a backing plate under the console like I did mine (I used 1/4" starboard).

I can vouch for the RAM Swing Arm mount, plenty sturdy, and it may not appear it in the pic but my Carbon 9 does not actually stick out past the side of the boat when its setup in my driving position. Its likely your console is different than mine which might be to your benefit.

Console is a little different than yours. on those ram mounts is it able to tilt (i guess is how to explain it.) can it put the graph at say an angle from the ram mount or is the graph and ram mount at a 90* angel at all times?
Each of the joints can pivot 360 degrees, but only parallel to the base. If you need to be able to cant the screen, you may want to check into the Balzout mounts.

You would still be able to tilt the unit in the gimbal bracket if needed.
