2008 Z520 Prop Suggestion
I have an 08 Z520 with a 2015 250 Mercury Pro XS. I just put the motor on and am running a beat up Fury 3 25P. I'm hitting over 6000 RPM's and so I need a new prop. What do you all suggest? I only want to have to buy one. Thanks for the help.

You could also have Mark Croxton repair your current prop, which is an extremely popular choice for that hull and engine combo. While repairing, he could also tweak the prop—if he felt that was necessary—for slightly lower rpms and better performance. The best prop for you depends upon your priorities in a prop’s performance, but Mark can check all of the boxes if you communicate with him.

You may be running the the motor to high, 25 Fury on that boat should be about 5800 rpm unless there is a problem with the prop

What do you suggest for the PVS caps? I tried a 25 Fury 4 blade with 4 plugs out and could only turn 5300 and the hole shot sucked.
