Wading along Bullpasture/Cowpasture for smallies?

Hi folks. I'm starting a wading/fishing/camping trip starting Wednesday. Was initially going to hit a 16 mile section of the South Branch of the Potomac up in WV, but the water level and discharge has been unsafe and I'm not sure it'll recover in time. So, I'm looking at a 16(ish) mile section of Bullpasture, eventually joining Cowpasture. I've never been there and wonder if it's good smallmouth territory. Also, the current conditions look ok according to data, but that only tell you so much. For those of you with experience on that stretch, I'd appreciate any input!!

I believe that most if not all the property along those rivers that you mention is private property. Good luck getting permission. If you sneak in, you better have a good story, locals don't take kindly to out of town trespassers.
