Maybe "Chartreuse Pepper"? Color #031 on Barlow's site.

I remember it being something like motor oil but the motor oil gold seems too dark.

Dad had a box full of salt craws and we caught 100+ one day on this color so I've got 3 left and would like to order some more. He's not around anymore so I can't ask him. Loved this color though!

I believe I have a handful of salt craws in this color (packaging is long since gone) and I want to say that "Sand" is the correct name.

I'll check on the baits tonight... If I have some, they're yours.

I'd certainly like to add them to the collection. He has a box of OG wiggle warts that'll never see water again. Lost him at 46 to Pancreatic Cancer and fishing was our one true connection.

Sure looks like sand, but it is hard to tell color from a picture sometimes.

I would guess chartreuse with gold flake, but haven't got into Gene Larew's website, assuming they have one, or a decent color chart for their stuff. TW doesn't stock those, anyway. They show a "Butterscotch", which seems like a possible match.

Motor oil gold (294) on Barlow’s chart is close. My first thought was sand as well. Pradco bought Gene Larew and I don’t see many colors on the Lurenet site.

Well good luck, salt craw had a certain color green with orange pinchers ( not the one they presently have). In the 80’s I bought a bulk supply of them, they worked great on several lakes. About 4 years ago I emailed someone at Larew’s with a picture. Guy said they hadn’t made that color since the 90’s.

Glad to hear! That is a daily thought in my life. I'm 27 now but dad was 46 and his father and grandfather both went at 61 to cancer. I've stayed away from the smoking and drinking which played a role in their cancer. Just praying I can hit 85 and see my grandkids.
