Reading this post. I am in need of replacements and I also have the medium cable size and the shop I am looking at has backordered them. It looks as if the shorter cables should work just fine. Ill call them tomorrow and have it expedited that way I have all weekend to work on my motor.

If you want to keep things lined up, just mark the gearing with a sharpy pen, then take it apart. that is what I do. that way you don't have t realign anything. Just line the marks back up.
