results of being fitted for a new driver

The club pro had me hit 3 drivers. Mine (Callaway Hawk w/ standard shaft), Callaway Mavrik max with standard shaft and one with the lighter (senior shaft). Both Mavriks gave me 12 to 15 more yards than my old one. The Senior shaft gave me about 7 more yards on an average. 10.5 degree loft gave me the best ball flight. I was surprised to see that the senior shaft gave me more distance. I play18 holes with the senior shaft. The balance is amazing and when i hit it in the sweet spot the ball takes off like a rocket, well maybe a Volkswagen LOL. Now the hard part, paying $$ for one club. I"m 70 years old, weigh 180lbs and stand 5ft 9. Looking forward to playing with the new driver.

I got fitted for a new driver, well worth the time and effort. When I make a good swing it is long and straight. I went through 7 drivers in my fitting and we found the best fit with the Taylor Made.
