    Help adding roll on guides

    Hey everyone,

I am interested in adding roll on guides to my trailer to make my life a little easier when loading my boat.
They look very easy to install but the problem I知 having is I have steps installed on my trailer that would be in the way of where the roll guides would be installed so I知 looking for any suggestions.

    Here is my trailer:

and here is the roll guide kit I知 trying to get:

It looks like the bracket attaches to the trailer frame but my step is obviously in the way of that:

I have room closer to the middle where the second step ends to install them I think but I don稚 know if that would work or they would need to be installed in the back of the trailer:

Or would I need to remove the step in order to install it?

    Any help would do thanks!

Why couldn’t you drill 2 holes in the step for the through bolts. One set of bolts go to the inside of the frame and the other two go through the step and the outside of the frame with the bracket sitting on top of the step/frame.

Hey guys, so the item came in the mail and I went to install
    but im having a problem.

It seems the bottom part that gets bolted down is way too long for my trailer and boat.
The dimensions for the arm is 13.5” but I have to extend it all the way under just to allow the boat to be close to the rollers.
    Am I doing something wrong?

Here’s the image and dimensions for the set:

This may not be what you want to hear but here is a suggestion for guides that are adjusted to your boat and provides dead nuts loading.

Can't provide any suggestions with the set you have but if you can return them, get a set of Bulleyes that provides a great deal of latitude for adjustments to different hulls.

Not cheap but well built and makes loading a dream.

The guides have a push button and you turn them 90 Degrees for loading and travel positions so the guides do not rub the hull during travel.
