Did Evinrude fire all the Tech's

My Ranger 520L is in the shop right now for a 211 fault. As Elgin said I was told sensor failed and motor was running. Dealer talked with Evinrude and ordered some parts under warranty. On Wednesday they said they should have the parts in a couple days. Hopefully I will be back on the water shortly

I’m having the same 211 code. 17 hours on the motor. It goes to the shop next week so we’ll see what the warranty service is like now.

Got a call from the Dealer today, BRP is sending out a new, dressed powerhead. Hope to pick it up by the end of next week.

Good to hear and make sure they check the flywheel nuts at PDI on the new powerhead. There is a bulletin that would of been wise to check against when doing the PDI first time around. 2019-01(W) is the bulletin showing them what to do and take 20 minutes.

Update for my 211 fault. Got my boat back they replaced DPS Module Kit and DPS Motor all under warranty. Took it to the lake today and didn’t get a 211 however, the water pressure wasn’t reading. The motor is pissing well and no alarms. I looked on the right side of the engine and everything is connected. It worked prior to the work. I’ll call them tomorrow to see if it may be a software deal. They loaded firmware for the DPS modules.

I'm taking mine in next week for the same thing. How long did they have your boat?

They had my boat for about a month. That being said I knew they were 3 to 4 weeks out but they are almost 8 hours away so I took it up when I had time. It took about 4 days from getting approval for warranty work, ordering parts, and having the boat done.
