    10hp Lakes

Has anybody had experience with the 10hp rule here in Indiana on lakes like Eagle Creek and Brush Creek when you have a bigger motor? I've seen some old newspaper articles on Eagle Creek for instance, that say you will get confiscated for even putting your boat in the water if it has a >10hp motor on it. I'd like to fish some of these lakes but not if I get tackled to the ground and lose all my gear for making the attempt.

Last year Eagle Creek made a big stink on the 9.9HP rule and was enforcing it, not sure how much they are enforcing it now. Seems to waffle back and forth at that place.

What do you mean by the " 10 hp rule in Indiana"?
Where is Brush Creek, and who governs it?

Eagle Creek is an Indy Parks Dept. Property.
I haven't seen signage about confiscating property if you violate
    the 10 hp limit.
However, there is a sign by the ramp stating a $2500.00 fine for
    violating the 10hp limit.
I have a picture of it.

I believe there has always been a rule on the books, stating there
cannot be any motor greater than 10 hp on any boat.
I know the park rangers haven't always been prompt to enforce it.

Ive heard the rangers have their own boat, and do protrol it now.

Havent been on the water since the new rules started.

Feds own brush creek, run whatever you want on it. I grew up on the lake and Chip is right, there are no fish in it.
