Asked this very question at the dealer yesterday and was told 74ish will be realistic.

That's pretty good if you have a tournament load. I guess I'm getting old, once I hit 70 that's plenty fast enough for me.

With 2 man tournament load, I’m getting high 60’s in normal chop. No jack plate.

It seems from what I am hearing the r hulls are a touch on slow side but, phenomenal in rough water and really smooth. 69 or 70 on 2 fx 20s from good sources. That is gactory set up so to speak.

    ZXR20 is a 75+ mph boat

    ZXR21 is a 70+ mph boat

You have to drive these boats some on the top end, but from what I have been told that was Skeeter's plan.

An FX is a different hull than an FXR. Same with ZX and ZXR.

There is not gonna be 5 mph difference between the 2 models.

Boss had me do the break in. Idled for an hour which was brutal. I did try to troll a crankbait with no takers. Then another hour just barely on plane. 22-24mph. After that I got to take to speed for a few minutes at a time. I didnt push it all the way and saw 70mph with a 3/4 tank and 2 guys. I put 360 Mega on it also and decided to test it on a cool stump row I knew about. Had that rod with a crankbait laying there so I tossed it around those stumps. 3rd cast=4 pounder! He has a nice boat fast boat and lucky boat!

    73.1mph @ 6100rpms Bravo 1 LT 25P
    73.7mph @ 6000rpms RX4 24P
Vent Plugs plugged off on boat 1 person medium tournament load Jack-Plate 12-15 on gauge for both was where I found it to be best. No porpising what so ever. I did another full post on this in the props thread.

My ZXR 20 has a hydraulic plate and two 8' raptors.

By myself (180 pounds) 1/2 tank gas, empty livewells, slight chop, I've seen 74 mph

Tournament load with partner, 3/4 tank gas, livewells full, I've seen 71-72 mph.

I'm running the stock T2, but looking for real world numbers on a 26 Tempest and would like to run one.

same results here... although, I've only seen 72 with myself.
