Given the amount of rain the past 3 days (5+ inches at my house), looks like another period of high and muddy water in area lakes. Third time this season already, this is getting old.
I know I am worried about my pontoon in water at dock at Gaston. It should be fine but you never know. Waiting on work this morning about it.

jrbdad, have you heard from anyone about your pontoon boat? It's higher here today than it's been all year. In fact, we are within a few inches of the morning after Hurricane Matthew.
Yes I did. They had to take a cleat on dock loose to get ropes off. Then redo ropes.But all is well now. Dominion says water should be back down to 200.5 by tomorrow. Wife and kids are heading down in morning. So my son can take care of it then. Guess I need to use atleast one bungee line. I check water yesterday and it was not too bad. If I knee it was going to go up almost a foot over night I would have went down last night and took care of it.

So, they say, and I hope it’s correct. They were wrong this morning however. It was well over 201 They are only releasing 22000. Cfs until 2300 hrs. That’s not a lot.
Its 308.33 and climbing@ 1900.
