Guntersville in Mid October

Never fished Gville. Got a tournament in mid October. What is the consensus that time of year. Frogging/Punching grass. Not asking for specifics but just the common knowledge that time of year.

Yea, frogging and punching will be in affect during that time. would still find time to go toward the channel and find some ledges to throw a C-rig and deep running spinnerbaits. I mainly fish on the southern portion of the lake and found it to be still very active during that time. In fact our bass club will be there on October 17th for our tournament.
