I just installed the perspective mount and was about to update when I started reading all of the posts with people saying LS is horrible with the new updates.
Should I just keep it where it’s at or update and roll it back if the images are horrible?

Yes stay there in my opinion the perspective view is not worth it.
Several folks here that say rolling it back isn't helping. LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!
If your running 2.2 LEAVE IT!!!
Don't have one myself. FWIW I've talked to 6 anglers I've ran into out on the water in the past few weeks who had all done the update and were still perfectly satisfied with the LiveScope. There will obviously be a higher % of people complaining about an issue on a forum like this from selection bias - dudes whose Garmin's are working just fine don't have any reason to be googling invisible trees or what not and don't end up here.
BUT, it seems the overwhelming % of BBC users who updated have had negative experiences, which suggests there is a somewhat high % chance you'll have problems too... so probably leave it unless your desperate to try out the perspective mode.

anyone tried the 2.41 livescope update on the site
I've been using 2.41 since it came out. I have both v2.20 and v2.41 in different GLS10s in the boat. I see no differences in LiveScope Forward. I've not compared LiveScope Down on them
