    New Wedges

Just replaced my Volkey 56 and 60 degree wedge. Replacement is same brand/loft/bounce, however going from a SM4/6 to SM8s. Have not been able to spend much time on the range yet - however seems the new wedges are a bit 'hotter' than the old. Ball is flying much further which caused me probably 6-7 strokes in my last round. With the older clubs, I spent enough time on the wedge to know my swing for 40, 50, 60, 70 yard shots. Seems I need to spend more time on the range with the new wedges to dial that shot in.

    Anyone experience similar? Thanks.

New clubs are designed to go further.
Just need to adjust and practice.
Precise distancing is fun when you get dialed in.
    Enjoy your new weapon!

I ordered a new Ben Hogan equalizer wedge 4 weeks ago, decided to call them last friday and they told me due to Covid it will be mid July before I get the wedge.

7 weeks is not very good customer service. Good thing you ordered it early-at least you will get half of the golf season with it.
