New Ranger Owner - the work starts

Started some work on me and my brother’s 2000 518vx today. Just got it Sunday. Have a lot to do but I’m game. Made the garage a little bigger to accommodate her wide behind lol. Then started some bow work so I can start installing my Ultrex after I order a 1” spacer. Old bow padding was shot, wouldn’t let a hobo piss on it. Used Gatorskinz. Took longer than I thought. A lot of heat gun, pulling, razoring, goo gone, and cussing. Why do the smallest projects take the longest and hurt the worst lol.

Thanks. I have a lot of work to do, but I’ll do as much as I can after work and on my days off.

My fishing buddy has nearly that exact boat and it’s been a joy to fish out of! Hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

Fixed the console graph area. I guess the previous owner(s) believed the more holes the better. Also had put down some glue gunk. I degreased and scraped several times. Then cleaned off, dried, and made my molds for the gatorskinz. Gatorskinz is the poor man’s fix-it lol. Here’s some pics.

You've spent all of your money on a Ranger and forgot to pay utilities.
