    Hooks for Herring Head Mold

    the mold i have is the middle one, can't remember the model. goes from 1/4oz to 5/8 I believe. Mold calls for 4/0 and 5/0 Gamakatsu 604 hooks. Looking for a good alternative to that hook. I tried VMC Barbarians but they are WAY bigger that the 604. Recommendations for a good hook for a 1/4oz underspin?

    Go to Barlows, click on hooks, click on jig hooks, a list of types shows. You can choose and they will show various ones so you can compare them.

    You can use the Mustad 32746 in that mold or the 833 a little heavier hook.
