    Repower with Four Stroke

I have a 1998 Intimidator 2000 first generation 19’9” hull 200hp max. Has anyone repowered this boat with a new four stroke engine? I was curious how the hull handled the heavier weight of the four stroke? Hole shot and while fishing? How did the boat sit in the water? Thanks in advance!

I have a 1998 Outlaw that I repowered with a 200 hp Suzuki. It does just fine with the extra weight. It does sit lower in the water but I switched to lithium batteries as well.

first off, the new fourstrokes dont really weigh in more...
second, the performance will make you slap your momma for not having done it already...

repower and enjoy!!! you will see improvement in ALL mentioned categories of performance
