Bit old with this footage now, been struggling to get caught up to current fishing conditions, but I'll get there in two weeks. Went out Mother's Day morning for a few hours during that brutal cold front that hit New England that weekend. Snow in most of the state (and just a dusting where we fished) the day before. Day of, we were greeted with 25+ mph winds and air temps in the low 40's with overcast conditions. Not exactly the kind of weather you'd want for early May...

Bounced all over this smallmouth and trout lake looking for them, and while it took awhile, we did finally figure out where the bigger fish were hiding. I use the term "bigger" a little loosely here. Beginning to think the few reports I've heard of BIG smallmouth in this hidden glacial lake are a little far fetched.

Enjoy!
