As an add to what fishinarc said, you can call the DNR downtown office and pay for it and they can send you an email so you will have proof of purchase until the sticker arrives via mail just in case time is short for you.

Not to hijack the OP....has anyone noticed with the newer stickers how they fly off your boat? Had that happen on my bass boat as well as my pontoon. DNR must have taken the lowest cost bidder on the adhesive they use on the stickers as they don't stay on worth a darn.

Mine is still on there. That's a bummer having to get another one.

Bill, I didn't even realize it fell off until the DNR came up on me for a normal check. Once he looked on the other side of my boat seeing the current year sticker, we put 2 and 2 together. Had this also happen on a jetski. I carry the registration in each water craft so I can show I am legal.

Put mine on and first trip out both flew off. I was running up river and saw something zoom by my head. Got home and noticed both were gone. The old ones were on for years, it would take a heat gun to get'em off.

And the registration stickers aren't much better. Usually wind up with 1 out of 3 left by the middle of the year.

We had that problem in Illinois a few years back I used clear wrapping tape over the top with a little overlap. Gorilla tape makes a clear tape as well

The only Indiana lake I fish is Brookville, and I have never purchased a sticker... Now I only fish late winter, early spring and fall. I've been checked numerous times for a fishing license and they never brought up the sticker... Dan
