    Middle seat removal

Has anyone removed there middle seat on their tracker boat?
I have a 2014 175 txw, the middle seat never gets used and is in the way more then anything.

Just wondering if any of you have removed the center seat, I plan on taking it out and using the brackets that hold the seat but add wood and carpet.

Now where to find grey carpet to match.....

I did on my 2018 190. Used cabinet grade 3/4 ply and a close match section of carpet glued down with Super 77 (or is it 777?). Mounted with aluminum piano hinge held in place with pop rivets. I mostly fish with just two on board and it's easier and more stable to step up to the back deck. If I plan to fish three on board it only takes about 5-10 minutes to remove the pop rivets and reinstall the middle seat.

There is a center seat mod thread in the “Tracker Boats How To and Mods “ sticky above.

I try to drive as if my 16 year old Grandson is following me

That looks good...good job, simple and clean. What did you use to build it?
    Speakers look good too.

I need to to do the seat delete in mine too. No one ever sits there and one of these days me or my occasional passenger are gonna step on it and wipe out. Sounds like a good winter project.

I'll be doing it to mine also. Have done it to every boat I've owned. If someone needs to sit there, they can sit on a throw cushion.

3/4" pine and some outdoor carpet, not a exact match but close enough.
I used the hinge that what hooked to the middle seat.

The speakers are polk, they are okay, I had kicker speakers there before but one of them stopped working....will be buying kicker again when these stop working.
