    Fishing the access rivers??

Not sure what they are called, but the rivers that lead up to the docks and boat shops, etc. Do these get fished much, seems like there would be some good bass there with all the docks. The one lined in red.

Never fished it but it gets crazy busy with all the boat traffic going in and out.
there’s plenty of bays and sea walls to fish on the lake.

That’s probably all no wake, making it not the best access the further upstream you go. Also lots of little brown trout in that river from runoff overwhelming sewage systems.

We haven’t fished any actual rivers in that area, but every spring hit some residential canals for largemouth action. In May and very early June, the action can be brisk to outstanding, but they get away from those dead-end backwaters quickly when the spawn is finished. Or at least that’s been our experience.

The dead end canals without flow through them warm the quickest and get weed growth the earliest. That makes them great early season options before the other ones start holding fish.
