Temp issue with m360

I have a helix 10gn3 DI plus and recently added m360 with the correct y cable. Im not able to get a temp reading off the DI ducer on the troller. Will only read the temp off the rear ducer. The units (other unit is gn1 si) are linked by a cable not a network box.
Is this normal.

You need to go into your network menu, under temp and choose the temp from the Ultrex mdi.

I have a non-built-in di ducer. Has no option to pick it for temp. I can use the rear no big deal but would like to be able to turn off the rear unit to save power.
