Ultrex/Terrova Shaft Length for Nitro Z7

I am planning on putting a new Minn Kota Ultrex or Terrova on my 2009 Z7, and I am wondering what length shaft I need to specify? Ninety five percent of the the time I fish relatively shallow water (2’ to 12’) and rarely fish rough water much over white capping. I rarely fish in rollers. Your input would be appreciated.

BTW, I know the Ultrex trolling motor foot pedal is to big for the existing sump (or whatever it’s called). I can work around that.

Yep, 45" length will be fine.

I got a 2015 z7 w/45" ultrex. Plenty long. I cut out my recessed area in the back a little and it drops right in.

Just put a Ultrex on my 2009 Z7 last week. 45” shaft, and I was surprised that the foot pedal fit easily down in the well. Haven’t gotten to take it out yet!
