    9MM ammo

Are you guys having the same problem as we are here in Mass with 9MM being scarce as well as gone up in price about $3 -$4 a box?

Ammo across the board is scarce since the first few days of the covid scare and prices have also crept up from some sellers. Starting to see more in stock the last couple of weeks though.

Most places around here limit you to one or two boxes if they even have it in stock, plenty of 40 S&W ammo around, that's what i've been going with lately.

Academy still has decent prices online with free shipping. I am actually getting ready to load a thousand or two on the Dillon. I have not loaded 9mm in a 5 years or so.

Went to my Academy today and they had almost no ammo at all. Various deer hunting rounds but no handgun ammo. There inventory was a case and a half of handguns and a few hunting rifles.

Reloading supplies too are hard to find. Primers, certain powders, Local gun shop that sells supplies says he can't get any replacements from his suppliers. Said the rona had people home and bored, so they are reloading. Makes sense.

Not sure what you are paying for 9mm, but sportsman's guide has it available. I know the 45 sure has jumped up in cost

Costs will remain high, won’t come down anytime soon. Election cycle this fall will keep prices up and inventory low.

I'm still able to find it around here, but prices are up $2-4 a box right now. Good thing I was stocked up before all of this chit hit.

Well stocked before all this crap happened, I always try to make sure that I stock during a non-election year after all the panic buying is done and inventory has replenished through the system. I only reload 12GA because I trap shoot and it is cheaper that way unless ammo is on sale super cheap.

I just found out my buddy that has a small shop has 1000's of 9mm for sale. Most of it is tula. When Walmart was getting out of the pistol bullet business they sold their stock 50% off. I bought 1000's of various calibers and wish I bought more. 50 rds for $4 was their price on 9mm. 45acp was $8/50.
