Water Well ?

Looking at putting a well in on my recreational property. We keep a 5th Wheel up there most of the time but have not spent longer than 4 days at a time on the property. Currently haul water. Wife wants a well, not so much for drinking, but for showers, toilet and dishes. Only have electric on the property currently.

Do I try to put in a shallow well myself ? Figure a two inch well pounded in would work.
Go with a standard residential well ? two cabins in the area had to go 160' down to get pure water for drinking. Cost was about $6,000.

There's nothing like having the comforts of home, if you spend a lot of time there i would definitely consider putting that well in, next will be septic system unless you like digging a lot of holes for the shitter.
