    New to me 1997 202

So a few of you might remember the post I made about finding a 202 with a rotten transom. Well, I finally found a good one. It only took an 8 hr. trip from Michigan to Kentucky. This 202 has already had the transom replaced, so I don't have to worry about that. It has a few small issues that I'd like to address including a missing steering wheel cap, a broken glove box door, and adding a temp gauge. There are also a few scratches and gouges which I planned on fixing with marine tex. It also seems like my gas struts on the lids are short so I'd like to know what is the standard length. If any of you have any recommendations for me I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Looks similar to mine, congrats. The lid supports are 17 inch and 30 pounds will work. For the temp gauge, just use a transducer with built in temp?

My bad, check on the mercury board for that engine specifically, but should be pretty easy.
