Thanks guys. It was a fun weekend where everything just came together and fell into place. Lots of big fish starting to school up deep right now at Clinton and they were doing the same thing down at Sara. It takes a lot of idling and side scanning to find them, but when you do it's on. I had 3 schools located going into the tournament today and I never even went to the other 2. I had all my weight by 9:30 AM and spent the rest of the day keeping them iced down and aerated. They were all alive and banging the lids off at the end of the day.

Saturday our club had a tourney at Lake Sara. Just a quick 7-12:30 derby. This tournament the boater either has to bring a child or women to be their partner. My mom enjoys fishing yet doesn't get to go very often. We had a great day with 4 overs and a total weight of 16.96 on the day. Wanna give a shoutout to Philly for giving me the confidence in what I knew I needed to be doing. After only having one over until 11:30 the fish started biting, and we had to leave them biting to get back for weigh-in. Lake Sara has been putting out some weight over the last few weeks. Hopefully it is a sign to come for the health of the lake over the next few yearsfish.jpg
