Elite Ti2 network with Carbon?

Can a wireless network be established between these 2 units? If so, what would be able to be shared: wapoints, sonar?

Ti2 units can only network wirelessly with another Ti2. The only connection possible between your two units is NMEA 2000. With that you can share waypoints, depth, temp, and GPS data. You cannot share mapping or sonar over NMEA.

So then if I wanted access to navioics data on both a ti2 and a carbon I would have to have a chip in both units?

Two carbon units could share the navionics data and the transducer data?
