Ionic lithium 125 ah battery Review

Awesome day with the LithiumHub 125 AH BT deep/cranking battery. Ran 2 helix 10 g2n 1 helix 10g3n, helix 9 g2n MDI, M360, BT stereo, livewells, and talons and at home now and battery on app says 81% remains. This has me sold for the 50 AH trolling batteries. I removed 75lbs agm and replaced with 32lbs lithium battery. And prevented having to put another 75lbs house AGM. $880 bucks spent, should last 10-12 years.

I have compared and compared and compared and then weighed the pros and cons and lithium just isn’t worth it IMO. I don’t know why someone would run two units at the console and two units at the bow at the same time. I for one am one of the inpatient people around but I put my back units on standby when heading into battle.

i am glad they work for you but my group 31s power my live wells stereo etc etc all day without fail.

I understand the weight savings and also the durability of these Lithium batteries. But I do not understand how you only have 81% capacity left at the end of the day? Is this battery not being charged while running the engine? Maybe this is normal for all batteries and just don't understand (battery capacity) but, when I first fire up my electronics with my AGM I have 12.5 volts (according to my LS unit). At the end of the day after my last run, I still have 12.5 volts. While using my electronics with Livewells running, I have never seen it drop less that 12.1v... Running 2 Helix, 360, Garmin unit with LS, 2 Talons, Hydrowave, etc.

drew on here (ionic salesman) said same thing but noco gen 4 has a desulfation mode that will mess up battery. Just don’t leave plugged in after charge.

in my application, if I were to buy another decent agm($250) and run them in parallel for twice the reserve it would then cost $500 for a set of cranking/house and the cost to have it hooked up the way it needs with isolator($150) I would at most get 5 years on the setup. $500 again when I replace. Total $1,150 Over the course of 10 years. And add a extra 70lbs in back of boat. This way I get way more batter, 32lbs opposed to 140lbs and that equates to less fuel burned over that 10 years wich would then be a substantial amount. It’s cheaper in the long run.

81% was after a 11 hour day running everything on my boat to get a good idea of what is absolutely needed. My big motor ran less that 20-30 min all day. When big motor was running it was charging motor between 40-70 amps depending on speed.

with my boat network, my mega360 is being viewed by the person in back of boat with the bottom half more emphasize. Other unit at console will be in standby mode.

For those of you that think running 4 10” units with all the bells and whistles can get by with a big 31 agm you cannot. It might with brand new battery but it will wear out quickly. Every time You kill your battery you are doing damage.
